Creating digital solutions of high quality.

RvdB Solutions is all about quality, user experience and friendly service. When I’m working on your product, I treat it like my own, which means we have the same goals in mind: create a top quality product, that’s easy to use and contributes to your conversions. Read everything about how I got here, what company culture I apply at RvdB Solutions and why I do what I do.

The history of RvdB Solutions

Even though the history of RvdB Solutions itself is really short at the moment I write this article, my personal career path is also a big part of how I got here. It all started in 2014, when I decided to register as a freelancer with the name RvdB Design. As the name suggests, my focus was on design. Throughout the years I noticed my interest in programming started to become much bigger than my interest in design. After doing marketing, social media, design, web development and webshop helpdesk task for a big international flower company, I realized the problem solving and creativity within programming is what powered my engine the most.

I continued developing my skills by following amazing online courses on Udemy and working for a big education company with a bigger development team. Here, I could focus purely on WordPress development. On the side, I always continued improving other skills, mainly React. This personal development lead me to a position as web development specialist for a digital agency: Maatwerk Online. During the 2.5 years there, I’ve learned much about company culture, product quality, working with marketing specialists and increased my overall marketing skills.

Now, my skillset is at the point that I can confidently offer products of high quality that make your life and your customers’ lives a lot easier. I build agency level products for freelance prices! The passion I have for the job is big, so you can be assured I put my all in any creation.

Why quality is so important to me

Whenever I finish a product, I often see things I could improve. It’s not that they were not already good, but when I see anything I can turn from good to great, I often do. They main challenge usually is: who covers the time needed to make these improvements? When I worked for a boss, I often had to let some of this extra quality go, because there was no budget. Even though the product was good, I want the option to make it great. As a freelancer, I will always go for the best quality I can deliver. I want to look at our finished product and think: Yes, I couldn’t have done it better. Also, I’m just a perfectionist 😉 This will mean I often suggest improvements that might not be in the original scope. It’s honestly not to try and upsell or make more money, it’s just to build an even better product. Whenever you don’t have any budget left for out-of-scope changes, let’s talk about how we can still apply them!

The company culture of RvdB Solutions

Company culture became an important aspect for me since I’ve noticed how much it can improve workflow, communication and the overall vibes when working. Withing RvdB Solutions I apply company culture, even though I work as a freelancer. You can read much more about this in my blog article: Applying culture as a freelancer.

To summarize my company culture: Informal communication, treating your product like my own, being open and transparent and putting quality first are my core company culture aspects. Working by these values allows me to create the best possible product for you. This goes hand in hand with the fact that I’m not a salesperson. I don’t like it and I’m not great at it, so I will never try to sell you anything I don’t genuinely think you need or could benefit you.

Experiment with me!

I’m all about improving my skills. While I usually do this in either fake or internal projects, we can experiment together. If you have great innovative ideas and need someone to build it for you, but you don’t have a big budget required to have it done by a big team with years of experience, it would be a perfect match. Anything I haven’t done before but I probably will be able to do, will be on a no-cure-no-pay plan for a very low price. This way you help me gain new skills, you only pay when you get the product you want and the price looks like a joke 😉 It’s a win win, so let’s get in touch and talk about your idea!
