The main platform I’m working on is WordPress, which allows plugins to be added that can add functionalities to your website. In theory, anything you see on a website can be added to your website using a custom plugin.

What plugins are available?
Because WordPress is an open source system, there are too many plugins available to name them all. A lot of them are available through the plugins admin page and on WordPress.org, but there are even more available through third parties. Some are totally free, some have paid features and some require a license to use the plugin. You can have your own custom plugin made that’s only available to you.
Commonly used plugins are form-plugins like Gravity Forms or Contact Form 7, ecommerce plugins like WooCommerce, and a whole bunch of plugins that make the development of the website easier, like Advance Custom Fields and performance plugins.

Your own custom plugin
There are many reason why you could choose to get your own custom plugin made. A popular one that is requested more than others is to connect their website to an external system or connect two external systems to each other. Whatever the functionality is that you want to add to your website, it can be build into a plugin.
When RvdB Solutions builds your plugin, you will get some options: the plugin will be 100% yours and you can do with it what you want. This means you will cover all the costs of building the plugin. There is also an option, when the plugin is suited for it, to have no building costs, but only pay the license fee. This means the plugin will also be used by others and will be owned by RvdB Solutions. A third option is to find a middle ground together. You cover part of the costs, but also gain part of the income generated by reselling the plugin.

Can you help me with third party plugins?
I can definitely help you with setting up most plugins. Whenever a third party does not work as you expect, we will however depend on the plugins support. Because this is the thing: when you update a plugin, any changed you would have made to the code of the plugin will be overwritten. This means fixing a broken third party plugin, will often be undone. The best way to handle this is actually to reach out to the plugin builders. Of course, I can handle this for you, as I can point the developers in the right direction to apply the fix in their next update.
